Licensing & insurance
[List your motor vehicle repair shop registration, tow operator licence / DOT number, bond and insurance. Most states require repair shops and tow operators to be registered, and to show the number in advertising.]
Don't advertise ASE certification, manufacturer training, AAA approval, or trade affiliations unless your technicians genuinely hold them — these are easy to verify and falsely claiming them is deceptive advertising. Same for your shop registration and insurance: list the real numbers. If you're not certified in something, it's fine to just say what you do well.
